Obituary
Jacksonville - Betty Lee Townsend, 76 of Jacksonville entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 5, 2022 at her resident.
Celebration of Life Service will be held 2pm Sunday, September 11, 2022 at Saint Paul AME Zion Church in accordance with the Covid-19 mandate. Burial will follow immediately after the service at the Herbert and Annie Mattocks Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Townsend-Howard of Jacksonville; brother, Herman Speight of Rocky Mount; sisters, Estella Taylor of Hampton, Virginia, Audrey Chadwick of Callao, Virginia, Annie Norman of Jacksonville.
Celebration of Life Services are entrusted to Akridge Family Funeral Care of Jacksonville.
