Billy Ray Hatfield Jr., 67, of Jacksonville NC passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022 with his two daughters, Christine and Joy by his side at Lower Cape Fear Life Care in Wilmington, NC.
Services will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 1pm at the Onslow Memorial Park Mausoleum. He was born April 22, 1955, at Camp Lejeune NC. He worked hard his whole life. He loved his tractors, woodworking, racing and working in his garden. He owned his Towing Company and between him and his son, Billy they served Onslow and surrounding counties 24/7. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Ray Hatfield Sr and his son, Christopher Allen Hatfield.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Parker Hatfield, mother, Opal King, his children, Billy Ray Hatfield III, Christine Hatfield Hall (Mike), Joy Jones (Joy-Manda), his stepchildren, Jackie O’Toole (Tim), Tasha Mills, Nicole Salituri (Frank), his siblings, Debbie Dail, Betty Lowery (Pete), Kim Pardue (Curry), Sheila Brock (Danny), Danny Hatfield (Vickie), Cheryl Sanchez (Eric)-of Michigan, 16 grandchildren. 2 step grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
