Ella Louise McDonald

Jacksonville - Ella Louise McDonald, 84 of Jacksonville entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 14, 2023 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center in Wilmington. 

Celebration of Life Service will be held 12pm, Saturday July, 22, 2023 at Evening View Missionary Baptist Church.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. 

Ella Louise Morgan McDonald , 84 was born January 13, 1939 to the late David and Cora Morgan in Graytown, NC. Ella attended Georgetown High School and worked in the field of hospitality for more than 40 years. Ella never met a stranger, with her fun-loving spirit, love for dancing, strong sense of humor, awesome culinary skills and unforgettable presence. Ella passed away in Wilmington NC on July 14, 2023.

Ella was the mother of Seven Children. She was preceded in death by her son, Enoch Pearson; Grandsons, Ramel McDonald, Enoch Parker, and granddaughter Felicia Parker.

Her love and memories will remain in the hearts of her daughters, Darlene Semper, Danyelle Thompson; Sons, Ernest Pearson, Bobby Lee Pearson, Cornelius McDonald, and Perry McDonald.

Ella was grandmother to sixteen grandchildren, and twenty Great Grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. She has left a special mark on everyone that was blessed to know her.
