Jacksonville - Ellis C. Jackson 79, of Jacksonville, entered into eternal rest on Saturday October 28, 2023, at Onslow Memorial Hospital.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 1pm, Saturday November 4, 2023, at Akridge Family Funeral Care Chapel. Burial will follow immediately after the service at the Hubert and Annie Mattocks Cemetery. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

He is survived by stepson Allen Jones, Jr of Maysville; stepdaughter, Bernice Goggins also of Maysville.
