Richlands - Jackie Boone, 68 of Richlands entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 20, 2023, at East Carolina Medical Center.

Celebration of Life Service will be held 4pm, Saturday August 26, 2023, at St. Mary Holy Church in Comfort, NC. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

He is survived by his wife Wanda Boone of Richlands; son, Melvin Cobb, Jr. of Arkansas; daughters, Alexis Boone of Luverne, Alabama, Octazia (Timothy) Short of Ayden, Melanie (Christian) Hughes of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Betty Cobb of Kinston, Anita (Marsille) Foster of Hubert; brother, Rick Boone of Jacksonville; sisters, Annie and Carol Boone, both of Alabama.
