Obituary

Durham - Jamal Devante Parker, 28 formerly of Jacksonville entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at the M. D. Anderson Cancer center located in Texas.

Celebration of Life Service will be held 11am Saturday August 12, 2023 at the Trent River Oakey Grove Missionary Baptist Church Association Headquarters Building Burial will follow immediately after the service at the Parker Family Cemetery. A visitation will be held 5pm to 7pm Friday, August 11, 2023 at Changing Hearts Ministries.

He is survived by his son, Liam Parker of Garner; father, Valerius Parker "Meady" Jr.; mother, Mavis Satoafaiga; sister, Shirley (Nicholas) Satoafaiga; brothers, Justin (Lattoya) Parker, Joshua Parker, Dashawn Henderson, Javarius Williams, all of Jacksonville.
