Jacksonville - James L. Yeates, 62 of Jacksonville, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 3, 2023, at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center in Wilmington.

A Memorial Service will be held 3pm, September 10, 2023, at Akridge Family Funeral Care Chapel of Jacksonville.

He was preceded in death by Michael and Wanda Yeates.

He leaves to cherish his memories his father James L. Yeates; mother, Joyce Yeates, both of Jacksonville; brother, Christopher Yeates of Atlanta, Georgia; sister, Joy Leonard of Jacksonville.
