Rev. James Henry Pickett, Sr

Stella - Reverand James Henry Pickett, Sr of Stella entered into eternal rest Friday, March 25, 2022 at Carteret Health Center located in Morehead.

Celebration of Life service will be held 2pm Sunday, April 3, 2022 at Union Baptist Missionary Baptist Church in accordance with the Covid-19 mandate.  Burial will follow immediately after the service at the Pickett Family Cemetery.  A visitation will be held 5pm to 7pm Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Akridge Family Funeral Care Chapel and also one hour prior to the service. 

He is survived by his wife, Cora Lean Pickett of the home; sons, James H. Pickett, Timothy Pickett (Sandra) of Havelock; daughters, Rose Stewart (William) of Camp Springs Maryland, Clarissa Pickett of New Bern, Phyllis Ruiz (Marcel) of Silver Spring, Maryland, Janet Sykes (Alfonza) of Durham, Zeda Evans (Clinton) of Stella, Myra (Bill) of Bowling Green, Virginia; sister, Mary A. Carr of Manhattan, New York.
