Robin Earskin Burge, Sr

Jacksonville - Robin Burge. Sr, 67 of Jacksonville, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center located in Goldsboro. 

Celebration of Life Service will be held 1pm, September 9, 2023, at the Trent River Oakey Grove Headquarters Associating building.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ellen Burge, sister Penny Parker. 

He leaves to cherish his memories his son, Robin Ameer Burge of Midway Park; daughter, Kalisha Micole Burge (Ian) Collins of Strousburg, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Dorian Floyd of Murrell Inlet, South Carolina, Genisis Colins, Jsamyra Smith, Kailin Collins, all of Strousburg, Pennsylvania; one great-grandchild, Kierra Rowe of Strousburg, Pennsylvania; his longtime companion, Elaine Whack of Jacksonville; siblings Mrva J. Wiliams of Amsterdam, New York, Ruth I Grant of Cary, Sonja V. (Robert) Owens of Jacksonville, William A. Burge of Jacksonville; Linda J. (Sidney) Thomas of Albany, Georgia, Martha "Rudy" (Dennis) Lewis of Morehead City, William Shaw, Narda E Burge, Joseph M. Burge, Bonnie B. (Joseph) Delaney, all of Jacksonville, Vanessa A. (Albert) Garner of District Heights, Maryland, Jacquelyn (Michael) Brooks of Jacksonville, Bruce K. Burge (Donna) of Durham, Jerri L. (Curtis) Harris of Richmond, Virginia; brother-in-law Curlin Parker of Durham; two aunts Dora (David Addison of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Helga Burge of Lutz, Florida.
